All of my life I have waited for you Now that we meet I can't tell if it's true Ohh, time waits for no man Lord, don't be impressed, I'm just doin' the best that I can Now that I know I won't hide from the truth All of this time I was wasting my youth Ohh, time waits for no man Lord, don't be impressed, I'm just doin' the best that I can

Regression 05:26
When I gaze into my own reflection I should only see what I've been shown Instead I'm lost within my own regression Seeing the mistakes I've never outgrown But if I didn't wonder would I be human at all? What if I told you that man is an animal? Each time I'm reaching for a new connection Is this somebody that I want to know? But if I didn't have a dark side Would I be human at all? What if I told you we need to give ourselves a wakeup call? Man is an animal We need to give ourselves a wakeup call

I'll never be with you Don't even know your name You're part of the chosen few I can't even play the game The other boys come and go While I'm waiting in the wings My heart is just a marionette And you control the strings Unattainable So unreachable Well this life is my own I shouldn't feel alone (when I'm without you) The picture's clear to see Wanting you near to me But you won't ever hear from me (I doubt you'll remember me) Unattainable So unreachable Sometimes I wanna talk to you But I don't know what to say Never thought I'd feel this feelin' again Never thought I'd see the day You're comin' ever closer But these days just drag on and on Please don't fly away again 'Cause a part of me dies whenever you're gone Well this life is my own I shouldn't feel alone (when I'm without you) I thought by now I'd known I shouldn't feel alone (Still I'm without you) The picture's gettin' clear to see Having you next to me Feeling you loving me (Will you remember me?)

Every time I try and fix a mistake Something else falls apart And every time I show you my love I'm just breaking your heart There's no right decisions in this world It's the one thing I've found If you try and move forward You'll end up losing some ground I don't know which way to go Each direction is the wrong one Do you knoow the way to go (Can ya tell me) which decision is the right one Each choice we make leads to a new fate Not necessarily better or worse Just accept that you'll never get a clean slate And make the most of your time here on earth I don't know which way to go Each direction is the wrong one Do you know the way to go (Can ya tell me) which decision is the right one

These Days 04:56
I'm getting through to you, can you feel it, (can you feel it)? You'll be right next to me, can you see it, (can you see it)? These days I'm trying to forget you Sometimes I wish I'd never met you This thing just might work out, and you know it, (and you know it) We both could reap the wind if we sow it (and you know it) These days I'm trying to forget you Sometimes I wish I'd never met you These days I'm trying to forget you Sometimes I wish I'd never met you These days I'm trying to forget you Sometimes I wish I'd never met you

about

This is my second album, but first album of predominantly original material. The majority of the music was written between 2006 and 2010, before I had access to any recording equipment, and I've made slight changes and added lyrics in the last few months. The album title came from an episode of Last Week Tonight, and although the music isn't inherently political, I think the phrase also describes the content of the album pretty well.
